Jag35 Slider + Tripod Add-on

Full disclosure out of the way first: This Add-on is not for sale. The slider was not given to me for review I purchased the slider for my own personal use.

Quick Bit about the Jag Slider:
A few months back I ordered the Jag35 Slider. When I placed my order it was a shot in the dark. I had an idea for a project where I might need a good hand full of sliders and shopping around motorized sliders cost close to an arm and a leg. After finding Jag35 and their slider I figured what the hell for the asking price why not order one and give it a shot. To give you a better understanding of the pricing – I was looking at $350 with motor vs $650 with no motor.

The Slider is a fantastic value for the price. Yes there is a slight trade off on quality and function when it comes to buying a product thats twice as cheap as alternatives but let’s be fair if your buying a Kia because the price is right you know your not getting a Lexus.  Jag is all about creating affordable video products for indie and professionals and I’ll be honest the “Lexus” build quality is there regardless of the lower price point. Site/Life Update:

Hey Guys,

I know this year my online presence has been below average.  It’s been a crazy year with the birth of my daughter, getting sick, and deciding if I even wanted to continue my presence online.  The past few months I have been traveling so the sites progress has been slow.  I’m not using any outside help I feel my personal site should be created by me and no one else.  So I wanted to give you guys a little update.

Many of you have asked If I’m going to stream again and since most of my fan base came from my old Ustream Days I feel like I owe you an answer. YES !!! I’ll be streaming again.  Now that I have a family I won’t be doing a life cast.  I’m going to focus on what I love to do.  Technology and Videography / Photography and bringing you along as I make the transition from Internet Startups to doing what I love. Photoshop World: Vegas 2012

I’ll be attending Photoshop World in Vegas this week.  I head out tomorrow against the concerns of my doctor whom thinks the flight might increase my symptoms. If I make it in one piece I look forward to meeting the few of you that are going and for the others who can’t attend I’ll try my best to update my social streams and the blog.

Medical Update:

During the past month I have been dealing with some medical issues that still remain unresolved. After a hand full of CT Scans and various other testing from blood work to EEGs.  Doctors can’t seem to find whats wrong with me.

It started a month ago with migraines everyday and a hung over type feeling.  I seem to have my headaches under control for the most part but this dizzy lightheaded out of body feeling is mystery to my doctors.   There is an idea from one doctor that I have migraine induced vertigo.  I have another round of blood work and MRIs scheduled to see if we can figure out whats causing my issues.  for now I’m taking it one day at a time and hoping for the best.  I’d like to thank everyone for all the emails and text messages they are a great help.

I’m not as social or even on the computer as much since this started but I’ll do my best to keep you all posted along the way.
